Help a Friend in Need!!!

I have a friend who is dear to my heart that is in need of a life saving operation. Cathie is a mother of two wonderful children and married to a man that is greater than words can even begin to describe!

Starting 2 years ago her husband lost his job due to the downturn in the economy, just after Cathie had decided to fly out to Indiana to donate her own kidney to save her brother in law's life. When she returned home from Indiana she was faced with a tough decision, to work and bring in an income or to rest so she can heal. Being the amazing and brave woman she is, she chose work, which in turn made her health worse. She ended up taking a good chunk of time off and on at work, which left the bills to pile up!

Her son also suffers from dissabilities, which she ALWAYS made her priority, over her own health. He was taken care of through other organizations, but the rest of the family did not qualify for the help.

Over the last 2 years they have fought through the hard times and ended up doing ok. Her husband is working part time, and trying to go to school. Cathie has been able to work out of her home, but with what she has been faced with in the last 6 weeks, things are headed back south!

This is a family that has been there for anyone who needs help, and now is asking for help of their own!

Since they do not have insurance the doctors will not do her operation. At this point she is bleeding internally and the only way things will be done without insurance is if they can come up $6,500.00 to cover 20% of the operation. She needs a hysterectomy, and the cost for the procedure is $30,000.00 alone, not to mention the hospital stay as well as time off of work.

I am asking from anyone who can offer help to either donate ANY amount of money (even $1 will go a long way) or help with food and household items!

Please feel free to call me with any questions and I will gladly pick any items up from you, or arrange a drop off location. 541-914-5990

You can donate by clicking on the paypal link above that says "Donate"

Thank you all!
